I made these mini upside down bakewell tarts. The frangipani sponge is on the bottom with the jam on top. They looked lovely and all were eaten so quickly I never got to try one. 😂

Obviously, be fast or be last is the motto with Bakewell tarts - whatever direction they are facing! Yum!
They look delicious
The trick is to hold one or two back 'before' they go on the plate 😂
They look lovely, I have not had bakewell tarts since I was in England which is almost 18 years now.
