We grow chillies every year. These are some of this years that we have left. I have had them sun drying in the conservatory for a good few weeks. I then finished drying them in Aga warming oven last night. This morning they were blitzed in the nutri-bullet and then put into an airtight jar. The smell is gorgeous.

Great to be able to preserve home grown food
they look great Sally-Ann I use dried red pepper in my cooking a lot it gives things that extra punch.
We grow lots of chillies, as it's about the only gardening DH is interested in (apart from carnivorous plants) and we freeze most of ours. We label them carefully now, after a misidentification of a super hot variety that turned my pizza into toxic waste!
They look gorgeous too, but we don’t eat chillies . Are you going to try drying them in your ninja?
