My new hydrangea put out some flowers this year, last year it was very small and only managed a couple but this year it did a lot better and I look forwards to seeing it grow bigger. the flowers are cone shaped and are pink at the base and change to white towards the top, so pretty. The second picture I can't remember the name of the flower just now, it will come to me I'm sure, but I like them because the flowers of the same plant are different colours, you can have four or five different coloured flowers at one time. The third picture is my overgrown herb stack of pots I need to cut some of the herbs and freeze them.

Ok I remembered the name of the second picture flower they are Portulaca, also known as Moss Rose Purslane or Rose Moss

Beautiful flowers. Love hydrangeas. When we lived in Sandwich we had a purple lace one and it always looked impressive. I'm very curious to know what the plant in the second photo is. I've never seen a single plant with so many different coloured flowers. The leaves look like its a type of succulent.
