For the first time I am growing a Loofah plant in the green house. If it turns out well and I get enough I would like to do one or all of the following: use them as actual loofahs in the bathroom, turn them into kitchen sink loofahs and also maybe slice them and set them in soap.

How many have you grown and how long do they take to dry out? If you took a big one and cut it into more manageable sized pieces and made some soap they would make lovely Christmas gifts. To use them in the shower though get a piece of cotton rope and thread it through the loofah so that you can hang it up to dry because loofah's even the plastic scrubby kind grow a fungus inside them if they aren't allowed to dry out completely between showers
