When I was going out the other day I noticed how big our hostas are getting, we have a few but I snapped this picture from my side steps so not a great picture
Tom got some cuttings off his moms hostas when he went up to see her, they are a lighter colour and hers have grown huge, but she lives in Ohio and it doesn't get as hot as it does here. The hot weather really doesn't help the hostas.
Lovely! I have them too, and they flourish in pots in a part of the back garden where we get little sun. We have an excellent crop of snails too, which I check for after rain and relocate to the rough ground across the road.
Looking gorgeous and healthy sarah , hope cuttings are prolific growers
They look gorgeous. I never used to like hostas as the slugs always made a mess of them here and spoiled them. However the last few years ours have been looking wonderful like yours and the slugs have stayed away and now I really really like and appreciate them. x
