Daphne has been blooming since the middle of December, is the first flower to bloom and will go on till April. It also has a gorgeous aroma. It is planted next to the conservatory because of its loverly aroma.

The daphne I usually think of is Daphne Broon - a whole different image!😄

How lucky you are! Such a wonderful scent in winter. I remember seeing (and smelling) one at Anglesey Abbey and it filled a huge area with its fragrance.

How nice I’ve never heard of it but I love when flowers bloom early in the year lets you know spring is coming and always a bonus to have a nice scent
