I was looking for a solid sideboard and so many were MDF and flat packs , so decided to look for a second hand one
Hubby was all doom and gloom saying it was risky buying one unseen .
So I went ahead anyway and paid £ 150 and got this one , I have no complaints and the seller arrange a courier for me
It arrived a few days ago
I am pleased with my choice and it now holds all my sewing supplies , ( well nearly all ) 😆
Looks great liz we picked up a fabulous wooden side board from market place for desiree s room .we'll worth looking on these sites.x
It's fab Liz. Looks really solid. Great for your sewing stash. x
Thank you ladies it fits in fine and is solid , I am pleased I stuck with my instincts
On casters too so no problem to clean under it
Really useful looking, and room for displays on the top!
Doom and glom seems to be a real husband thing!
Well done you!
Similar to mine liz, and solid looking , I like it lots of room for all your sewing well done.
It’s lovely Liz, does it fit with your other furniture or will you need to paint or stain it? You dropped on lucky if it already fits, then again it’s fun to paint them sometimes. I managed to get a solid wood cupboard some years ago, I searched second hand places but ended up finding one in a local store that was part of a baby furniture set but was reduced due to the shelf inside being lost. My husband cut me a new shelf, I painted it and changed the handles and I put wallpaper on the top and mod podged over the wallpaper, it’s now in my bathroom and was a fun project.
It does look lovely and perfect for organising sewing/craft supplies and plenty of room to display your finished works on top. 😀
