This mornings harvest

It’s bank holiday Monday and I am still picking a harvest, of the last of the runner beans although there is still a few more growing , the long sweet peppers are starting to go red. Plenty of tomatoes still to come. The plumbs are very big this year with all this rain . So next to come ready next month are crab apples eating apples, cooking apples. With more Asian pears my freezer is getting ready to burst may have to turn on the chest freezer.

I may make plumb jam as don’t like freezing plums they are much better fresh.
