It was so relaxing making these paper decorations.
All you need is lots of pieces of paper (I used red wrapping paper), glue and scissors. Decide how big you want your decoration. Make yourself a template of the shape of your decoration. Draw around the templates onto your paper. Cut them all out and then fold each one in half. Now to stick your pieces together to create the decoration: Take your first cut-out, and put the glue on one half and stick this to the next folded cutout. Continue this with all cut-outs, sticking each to the previous one. Before the last piece is glued you can add a folded piece of string or ribbon to the top if you want to have them as hanging decorations. You can also glitter the edges and even do honeycomb effects by gluing various pages together. I didn’t do any of these extra bits because I like to keep it simple.
A great idea. They look so lovely. Thanks for sharing Sally-Ann. x
