Sorter free with embroidery mag.
Coloured it with blue and yellow nail varnish, and then did my neurotic crochet thing,
And sadly - my daughter's SO beautiful cat Mercury had to be rehomed. He was a rescue cat, but a biter - which didn't matter so much when it was only her, but now post-covid we have neices and new babies visiting. The RSPCA said to put him down, but instead she has spent hundreds on a Cat Behaviourist (who knew??) The Behaviourist finally suggested she re-home him and offered to transfer him to a elderly couple in the back of beyond where he would have plenty of room and they don't set off fireworks for funerals!!
I knitted her a heart, and stuffed it with hair she had collected when grooming him.
Your heart is such a lovely idea. Really sad that Mercury had to be re-homed, although sounds like a lovely alternative home was found. x
I think the RSPCA are a little overwhelmed with so many feral cats. But it does seem a little heartless, I'm glad you found an alternative, I like your floss sorter it looks so cute now
Such a sad decision for your daughter to have to make , the rspca are getting a bit of a bad reputation, your heart is a lovely gesture MT
So sorry to hear about Mercury. What a lovely kind touching make for your daughter, I'm sure she will treasure it. She did a wonderful job and absolutely tried her best and hopefully his new home will work out well. I am really shocked and saddened by the heartless response from the RSPCA - you would expect something kinder.
Your makes are great.i also have heard this about rspca glad he went to a lovely new home .xx
Sorry to hear about Mercury. Just confirms what I've heard about the RSPCA, sadly. It does sound like this is a good solution for him, and what a lovely way to remember him by.
And the thread sorter is very clever! xx
