Three of the staff at my daughter's school are expecting, so I'm hoping one's a boy!
Centres from LK kit, white and faux fur yarn from stash.
One of her friends is a Key Worker, a Carer. She has worked right through COVID, unlike social workers and others. She does lots of things outside her remit, when the client's families don't step up to bat.
She got landed recently with an unpleasant client that others have refused, and who has brought her more than once to tears. But as there's no-one else, she keeps going.
Then she doggy-sat her sister's dog which had come from a breeder, and had already sadly had shown several issues, both medically and behaviourly, and it attacked her and had to be put down. She is still getting the wounds dressed every day.
So I have made her this throw in her favourite purple hues, with lots of fuzzy yarn.

Thank you, ladies!
I love the fluffy edges you put on your blankets, I know most babies like to rub the blanket against their face I bet they love that fluffy edge
Lovely little blankets MT
Fabulous blankets and made with love.x
Such a thoughtful gift MT. Your daughters friend has been through so much. I’m sure this gift will cheer her up. x
Oh your poor daughter's friend. She has certainly had an awful time. I'm guessing she is in a pretty fragile state with everything that has happened. I hope her wounds heal quickly for her. I'm sure the throw will be much appreciated and cheer her up, such a lovely kind gift.
Both blankets are beautiful and I love the fluffy edging x
