I think marigolds take a longer time to crochet , the lotus flowers I can do quite quickly, the centres will hold a small crocheted candle Very easily.
No Sarah not marigolds ,more lotus flowers , they are more appropriate to coincide with Diwali.

No liz not knitted all crochet thanks for your comment . The piece that goes on the top of the post box is a material piece that is weather proof, saves me a lot of crocheting.😁
