I have done a lot of crochet and felt like a change to a different hobby so I went to sewing by hand my quilt as you go quilting. It was very relaxing and I shall build on it every evening , tv on in the background and hand sewing a good way to while away the time and be productive.
I have 14 hexagons, 5 diamonds,3half hexagons and 4 triangles already quilted as you go ready to sew together . What is good about quilt as you go is the back of the quilt is already done.

You have done a great job. it's so neat for hand sewing. I would have used the machine, but I don't like hand sewing, i find it hard with my arthritis in my hands. The only time I hand sew is if I need to ladder stitch something closed so I'm always amazed to see how neatly other people can hand sew. I look forwards to seeing the end results I'm sure it will be a lovely quilt with a lot of sentimental value.
They will make a lovely quilt linda , and I find hand stitching so stressless while watching telly
