I had forgotten to post these bag pictures because I wanted it to be a surprise for the winner of last years cork challenge. I got so busy with so many other things though that it took me months before I actually got around to sending this prize to Carolyn who was the winner.
This is the first bag I have made and completely designed it myself in a professional capacity. I made all the pattern pieces after learning how to do so in my awesome vector graphics programme, I have so far made two bags from the pattern, this one that you can see in the photos went to Carolyn, it's made from natural cork, and the other, my daughter borrowed as a help/ guide to her while she tested my pattern for me. She still hasn't tested my pattern and hasn't returned the bag, that one was made from a red suede fabric.
Now the children are at school i'm hoping I can spend a bit more time on bag making and design a few more. And if anyone has a sewing machine and wants to pattern test this pattern for me to make sure it's beginner friendly, just let me know.
