the lowest My pattern does is 20 inch. And I got it from sewing street.com there are bucket hat patterns for babies on Etsy.com If that is any help for you.
Does your pattern do baby size? I’d like to make one for my daughters baby when we know what sex it is. Did you get the pattern online? I’m wondering if I can get it here.
I have ordered some cross grain ribbon and some grommets for air cooling the hat. My sister and brother in law have the hat it fits them both. Blue for Philip and William morris side for Julie.
It looks great Linda I would not be able to tell you hadn’t bought it in a store. If it’s a little too big you could try sewing some ribbon around the hat just above where the brim is joined. Use a heavier ribbon like grosgrain rather than satin and use it to cinch the hat in slightly.
Another thing you might want to think about doing is adding in some small metal grommets to allow for a little cooling
It looks really good. One side for sunny days, one for cloudy!
Fabulous job linda it's another achievement to add to your list
