Had the sewing machine out over the weekend and made this basket using patchwork with the fabric
i was kindly sent by Linda . It has fleece in the middle and 2 layers of fabric , it is 12” long x 5” wide and 8” high so a good capacity , and has 2 handles

I had fleece available it makes a basket that you can fold away , the stiffer style is probably better if using for everyday items , Christmas items need to be packed away , however I am going to try cardboard next time I make a basket
It looks great, so useful, I also use plastic canvas inside fabric baskets. or sometimes I have used stencil plastic.

I love your basket liz, great use of fabric. the patch work idea is great. I used the plastic mesh in side so it’s stiff enough to use as in brick building , as well as storage, but would like to use your idea of fleece and double fabric as a container of nappies and nappy changing gear that jade brings along for 2year old Ethan. Xx
