I have crocheted this tile in a weekend , it is 12inches(30cm) x 12 inches. An 8 sided octagon. Another two rows will make it straight and 8 corners which when put together with other octagons and a square to fill in the gaps. Makes it perfect for a blanket, or anything you can imagin like a waist coat , cardigan or wrap .
The tile is by Jane crowfoot and influenced by Persian and Moroccan architecture.
Llooks complicated but very easy to do .
Love it linda
That is SO pretty! 🤩
We could corral all these different shapes and techniques on the blog!
It’s beautiful Linda. x
They are stitch markers when I do the next row they tell me the corners of the piece of work if it was a four sided square then they will Mark the corners where you do your extra stitches in one place.
Looks lovely Linda. As a newbie to crochet, can I ask you what the clips are for on the pointy bits?
