I suspect most people are like me and usually buy their sewing needles for a sewing machine at their local store or even on Amazon, because it's so easy to just add them to your cart along with a few other bits you've ordered. However I decided on a whim to check out Schmetz own website, I not only found needles that I didn't know existed ( who knew they sold needles especially for sewing vinyl?) but I also found their shop very easy to use, I bought the vinyle needles, of course, and I got some packs of nonstick needles in different sizes. They were delivered reasonably quickly and they also added a plastic color code chart and 2 Pocket guides to what each needle is for.
I think we have become reliant on stores like Amazon and forget sometimes to check out individual companies websites, but sometimes you get a better deal if you do.
Good to know!
And it helps when trying something new if someone can recommend it.
Thank you for the tip. I love the plastic color code chart. This is such a coincidence because I have that exact chart printed out much larger, I only printed it out a few days ago. The plastic card size is better.
Good advice sarah , I use Amazon as it's so quick and convenient
