Tried something different for the Liz challenge and followed a YouTube guide to printing on fabrics using freezer paper. Couldnāt find any in supermarket so got some on Amazon. It was wax covered which I thought would work because I had seen a demonstration years ago on Create and Craft where plain bread wrappers had been used, I tried those but they wouldnāt stick. Neither would the wax freezer paper!
I watched the video again and saw she was using PLASTIC covered.
Sheesh!
I gave up and tried double sided tape round the four edges of a piece of cotton fabric cut to size.
And just did it. Selected clip art, edited, and went for it.
Matte photo paper, best quality print setting.
This is what I got. ( I have already divided the pics here.)
Not š perfect but good enough!
As long as the printer doesnāt choke up with little hairs. (Donāt tell Harry! )
Bluebells - nearly finished embroidery details!
Such a brilliant idea. I too thought a special printer/inks would be needed to do this. Iād not heard of freezer paper either. They look fab. x
I'm totally amazed by this. It never even occurred to me that you could print on fabric using a normal printer. I'd always assumed you needed special printers/inks etc. Also I'd never even heard of freezer paper. However Iāve just had a look on Youtube and watched some tutorials and itās so interesting. I will definitely give this a go. x š

Fantastic, they both look amazing. x
Canāt wait to see the bee embroidered,
The freezer paper you need is popular here but you did a great job without it. Well done
