I'm working on a c2c large mug rug. More like a snack rug because there is room for a plate and my coffee cup. I forgot how annoying sewing all those ends in was when you try to do a picture.... ugh.. I'm about half way through but I had to stop for a couple of days because of my shoulder.
I've tried 'carrying' the thread but it just looks so messy and you can see the colour you are carrying when you step up to the next square, unless I'm doing it wrong.
