I was desperate to make a Ladybird (Ladybug) and at last I managed. I think these would be cute lurking in the undergrowth - if I can bear to part with them...
They are about 6" (15cm) X 3.5" (9cm). Sort of on the immense side...
Cheap and cheerful - but I had fun!
