APOLOGY to my SECRET SANTA
My SS gift is going to be late - you will know who you are because it won't arrive in time.
Our windshield was hit by a stone and developed a crack and my husband was unwilling to drive the car in case it shattered.
We have a date to get it fixed - the 28th- and Autoglass have now assured us it actually won't spread since our glass is laminated, but we missed the post for the deadline.
The lady at the Post Office gave a hollow laugh when I said the parcel was for Christmas - Fat Chance I think were her exact words - but it's off anyway...
