My first Christmas make a fabric tray to hold sweets or fruit and nuts at Christmas It’s all hand sewn

Made myself a little fabric bowl using 4” squares , never tried before so trial and error , Will use to keep current threads I am using and small scissors at hand in an evening

This is side 2 of my project , I find rice bag style so useful for storage

Calling this side complete , the rice bag is now assembled and I am working on decorating with embroidery I will add the lining to hide all my stitching inside at the end Now to complete the other sides

Enjoying country life with her new neighbours .the livestock enjoy the petting and push to see who gets closest

This is my hand sewn large rice bag using fabric and thread from linda It is made using 12x12 inch squares and I will be storing my wadding and calico in it Don’t think I would make this size again , it’s a bit too large Thank you Linda for the kind gift of sewing supplies x

Look what I got , I am so excited where do I start . Well it’s with thanks and gratitude to linda , she offered to send me embroidery thread I was looking for an envelope and the postie knocked on the door , with this haul Oh joy I have had to order another thread storage box lol 😂 The fabric has got my mojo juices flowing , and I will be sewing today for definite Many thanks Linda my friend

This is my latest WIP , I had this Japanese embroidery in my stash so decided to use it and have embellished it Going with the Japanese theme and will be making a container of some sort

Finished the latest hussif , used same fabric but this one rolls and last one had zips New hussif Below is the first one I made with zips , however not so practical when in use Number 1 Number 1 Number 2 the new style hussif , much more useful Number 2 give me your thoughts

When out for a drive yesterday we passed the peat bogs ,they were covered in this beautiful flower It’s known here as bog cotton and many years ago housewives used to pick it and stuff mattresses and pillows with it I just had to pick some but now realise how it feels to walk on a bog especially with my legs , II was like walking on uneven sponge . I didn’t go far from the edge

Made this using cardboard and fabric , I enjoyed doing this , just ideas that come into my head I will use to store small craft stash as the roof lifts off for access I embellished using appliqué and embroidery

This is my pouch I made for Debbie , I embroidered a ribbon rose and her name on it Inside is ROSE shampoo and also LAVENDER body bath and body lotion which I bought from faith in nature .

Finished the bag I was given two weeks ago , thank you Sarah I enjoyed this project I completed the embroidery then cut off the handles as it was a tote bag Adding the draw string has made it more versatile , so I added a cord channel and finally lace
