Amish white bread

2 cups of warm water

tablespoons suger

2 tablespoons honey

1 and half tablespoons of yeast

1/4 oil

1 and half teaspoon of salt

Sounds like a typical American bread, they are all very sweet, I have to make my own and take out half the sugar same as you, My recipe is similar i just don't use honey and a little less sugar, but i use a diastatic malt powder to help the yeast out since there is less sugar

I found a big jar of sweet mincemeat, January 2025 , the internet tells me itโ€™s fine to use if still sealed as the high content of sugar in the mince meat is a preservative. So Mary berryโ€™s Christmas cake is what I shall make today.

Managed to get some meals into the freezer yesterday , 2 dishes if sweet and sour chicken ans 2 chicken korma , Tesco accidentally delivered a large pack 950 g of chicken breasts to me along with my order , I called to inform the store but they said they couldnโ€™t take it back would I please use it
