Cushion covers
These are the cushion covers I made to match my curtains using Laura Ashley pillow case as I refused to pay ยฃ42 for 2 x cushion covers

Hi everyone, I have emptied all my jars and tin goods from the kitchen sideboard into shopping bags so the sideboard can be moved for the carpet fitter , I filled 5 shopping bags and will empty my spice and chutney drawers next ,
My friend up the road popped in for a coffeee this morning so had a good catch up , she can only spare an hour as she has a badly disabled husband at home . She tries to pop in once a week . It used to be me visiting her before my fall .
Your crochet looks intriguing linda , is the cardigan for yourself ? hope everything ok with you Sarah
Were you away with the camper over Easter lisa ? Sally-Ann were you working or were you in your garden ? Maritrez and Tracey what have you been up to , love theโฆ

I have made several hexigan cardigans, but now found on you tube how to make a octagon cardigan . This has four corners at each end and a straight bit in the middle so when folded right it becomes a cardigan . An all in one cardigan with no sewing up. I just keep going round the four corners an carry on through the straight bit to the next set of corners and it gets bigger every round . I have marked every corner with a clip and itโs amazing how it turns out.

Now a photo of the folded corners

And there you have it I have 18 rows to do then Iโll post the finished project.

Just started a 20 Granny square baby blanket with DK and fluffy yarns, for one of my daughterโs friends.
To fit a pram or maybe cot - depending on how big I make the squares!

I wanted to try a new craft and chose EPP. Have decided on blues, lilacs, pinks, greens and maybe yellows too. Have only just started and am finding it really relaxing to sit and sew by hand. Something Iโve never really done. Am waiting for some fabric to be delivered but thought Iโd have a practice with some fabric that I had. This is my first hexagon flower. Will keep going and who knows I might end up with a quilt in the the very distant future. ๐ x

Progress on my English Paper Piecing (EPP) Quilt. I'm going to have to think up a name. My last EPP one I called it my "happy quilt".

I am glad you understand it linda because it looks complicated ,
Remember to post finished pictures
