I found a big jar of sweet mincemeat, January 2025 , the internet tells me it’s fine to use if still sealed as the high content of sugar in the mince meat is a preservative. So Mary berry’s Christmas cake is what I shall make today.

I shall add some glacier cherries and almonds for topping.

I made an Autumn granny square throw. I finished crocheting it a few weeks ago but forgot to post it. All made with wool I already had.

Lovely early birthday surprise, a wonderful book on quilts.  I shall have a very relaxing afternoon with some mulled wine and fire going looking through this for inspiration. Thank you xx

Easy sausage rolls

Managed to get some meals into the freezer yesterday , 2 dishes if sweet and sour chicken ans 2 chicken korma , Tesco accidentally delivered a large pack 950 g of chicken breasts to me along with my order , I called to inform the store but they said they couldn’t take it back would I please use it

First time making a jumper with a picture its for ria it came out OK I think with practice it will be easier to do.

Ria feels the cold i made her this cardigan the multi yarn was one of them horrible yarns to work with seeing the stitches was a nightmare so glad its done.

My family do not like pumpkin .So I am trying again with a spiced pumpkin cake and I won't tell them I am going to say its a cartot cake I will let you no 🤣Also where do I find the birthday list.thank uou lisa

So far this is all sewn together by machine ,but I got fed up with sewing on the machine so th edges I am going to use fusion quilting as it incorporates my first love of crocheting. Instead I shall sew patches together with crochet. My first fusion patch I learnt how todo this morning.
