Made some pink pickled onions with one of our homegrown red onions. Looks so pretty.

I picked our first apples from the garden, so had to make a spiced apple cake

A crocheted cowboy hat for daughter Liz. I have to put a band of wooden beads around the hat to finish off.

Here is the finished lid for the box I have added beads and a border with faux piping in grey fabric from my stash , I have yet to do the sides of the box and the inside, it is all hand stitched and with no idea how it will look until it comes to me ,

This is the box I am going to cover with fabric

The embroidery will be on lid I have sewn in to foam batting

This is the finished ribbon embroidery I experimented with i have been trying to decide what I can do with it Have now decided to upcycle a wooden box I purchased last year so that’s my next project .i will use this for the lid hopefully

The wood embroidery is finished it will be backed with felt and a material hinge ready to go on a crochet basket.
