My son in law worked all Sunday clearing the back plot of land we have. He cleared the fruit cage and took it down also a fence posts in front of the olive tree plot trimmed the willow hedge leading to the orchard. Stimmed two plots of weeds and cut a lot of shrubs in to shape .

Now you can see the three cherry trees and two blueberry bushes and a black current where the fruit cage was . Plus strimmednit all down where the olive tree and quince tree is . Next photo is the little willow hedge leadingto the orchard .

And my sister is going to take away the metal fruit cage and netting and old timber fence. .

That’s fantastic! New brooms… take no prisoners!🤪

Our garden has re ally got away from us during this last incident of mine.

But today the weather is fine, Harry rolled up his sleeves, gritted his teeth and marched out brandishing the secateurs…

😐 Scared to look!

Apples and Cake 🍏

We’ve been using our garden apples. With the rain and wind I was feeling autumny🍂 so made a spiced apple cake with a light creamy caramel frosting layer, topped with a very thin caramel glaze, fudge pieces, and toasted almonds.

Most successful - all the assorted unfinished bits and pieces - flowers, dreamcatchers etc all divided into individual plastic self- seal bags and corralled neatly into gift bag.

WIPs Into Gift Bags

Reorganised my jumble of WIP s from plastic bagsinto empty gift bags .

They will look so much neater beside my chair when I select one to ‘process’ .

I have them in a crate but I will be. storing them neatly along a bottom shelf 😁

I can’t edit this, and I HAVE tried, but I should have put the finished rug ( , SEE MORE - 3rd picture) first .

I’ve also tried to make all three pics smaller but it won’t do it for me, 😭

Does indeed!

Will no doubt taste as good as they look!

It's lovely that they are homegrown. Well done, Sally Ann!
