The steps are now underneath the ramp linda , so wheelchair can get to patio . Once this part is complete I will send a better photo ,
The rest of the garden is being done by a gardener who plans to lay slabs and it’s still at planning stage ,this is ramp over steps

Then there is the problem with the wall and the reason it was built (before our time )is the house used to be 2 storey high , it was lowered many years ago and all the maisonery was thrown in the garden hence the higher level and wall . No one wanted to dig all that out . I Will take pics when it’s all completed
Thanks for photos Liz, will the steps be connected to the patio so you have one level to negotiate? And have you any ground level when you come off the ramp. I cannot picture the rest of the garden. I hope I am not a pain , but just interested in how you use will be able to use garden .

I went to home bargains today, some lovely things as well as groceries and Christmas it’s a wonderful shop. I bought wool , 120 embroidery skeins in a storage box with thread winders enclosed absolute bargain .
It feels so good to get out and see a bargain shop and loads of ideas to do and for Christmas. I can start on my wood embroidery . I do have embroidery threads but it was a case of going to find them . Now I can dip in to a box of lovely colours already to hand.

Jim has just assembled this little side table for me that I got for about £20 , it has 2 usb cables on the side and 2 plug sockets , so handy for charging, also has fabric basket underneath which I will fill with craft items

This afternoon I have ordered spring bulbs , I have sent for ANEMONE Bulbs and mixed CROCUS bulbs and also IRIS bulbs , all favourite s of mine . wish me luck

We are in the middle of two houses so my extra land goes behind the two gardens and looking from the house the whole plot is in a tee shape. The gardeners did the front and back gardens in 4 hours and worked very hard. The front garden still needs turfing of the borders and the gardener who comes to mow all the grass comes once a fortnight. So pleased it is tidy and ready for spring. I am going to plant a load of bulbs in the back garden borders . My long sweet peppers in the green house top ones are yet to go from green to orange.
