Keeping wasps away.

Wasps are territorial so make a waspinator. This is a project that looks like a wasp nest. Once the wasp sees a wasp nest it will fly right buy the tree you hang it in. Blow up a balloon cover it with glue and paper when dry pop balloon and you have a waspinator just paint it brown put a hole in the bottom . Hang in a fruit tree, a natural way to deter wasps. Make sure there are no real wasps nest close by. They won’t work if there are. Also wasps don’t like the smell of garlic or spearmint or lavender these also are things to hang in your tree. I am going to hang these things in my Asian pear trees as the Asian pear has to be left on the tree until it’s ripe .

Given to anyone that bakes a Christmas bake and shows it off in the Holiday Group

Christmas Cheer

Plums

I’m following in Linda’s steps as I thought it a great idea.  I’ve picked nearly 8 and a half lbs (1 loaded trugs worth) of plums today and will also put them in brown paper bags to ripen.
