We live in a world of AI and bots and the two together can cause havoc on a small site like this. Bots come here to plant links, they use AI to write posts to make themselves look like a new site member who is posting about a craft they have made, when truth is they are not a real person and have no interest in anyone at this site at all, they just want to leave their links advertising someone else's site, sometimes sites that could be harmful with viruses etc.

So, if you are a real new member please do not post links in your posts, we will assume you are a bot and delete your post, once we get to know you and you become a trusted site member you can post links but for now please don't. Also if you come here and post all about…

Lately I have seen a lot of names of people joining the site but they never interact. A lot of the site can be seen without becoming a member, you only need to become a member if you would like to interact, join in activities and post on the forum. So when I see names of people joining but don't interact I am not sure why they became a member and suspect them of being a bot or someone who wants to help maintain the site for a fee.
