Knitted bees.
I made both these bees on my Addi express knitting machine then added the embroidery stitches. Their antennae where made on my new little electric I cord maker with 2 millimetre gauge wire threaded through the I cord. They are called Georgina queen bee and Harry honey bee. When jade was little made up stories when ever jade saw a bumble bee or honey bee we called him George and that he had come on holiday with us. She is now telling her boys the same story, so that they won’t be frightened of bees. Here they are.

Just saw these, they are so lovely, I use 'plant soft tie' instead of wire, it has a soft green coating to the wire making it a little less likely to poke through. I got it on Amazon as a 16' piece probably would be equivalent of about 10 british pounds, but since it's 16' it lasts a while.
