Our local museum in Lyme Regis is celebrating its centenary this year and I was involved in their Museum in a Matchbox workshop, which involved us visiting the museum and taking inspiration from some of the exhibits and creating something to fit in (on/under/around) a matchbox and writing a few words to go with it. They are now on exhibition at the museum, and I went to see them the other day. Here are my contributions, next to the objects that inspired me to create them.
Thank you all, it was such a fun project to be involved with x
What a great exhibition and how lovely you were able to showcase your makes, They all look wonderful and deserving of their place in the museum, Did you make those miniature food pieces too?
Just love the little bit of lace at the side of the matchbox where the emery bit should be. A lovely selection of ideas. Must be a super exhibition!
