Amish white bread
2 cups of warm water
tablespoons suger
2 tablespoons honey
1 and half tablespoons of yeast
1/4 oil
1 and half teaspoon of salt
6 cups bread flour
This recipe had more sugar this is what I do as I cut the amount down.
I plait my loafts to make them like this.

Sounds like a typical American bread, they are all very sweet, I have to make my own and take out half the sugar same as you, My recipe is similar i just don't use honey and a little less sugar, but i use a diastatic malt powder to help the yeast out since there is less sugar
