WIP.ceramic Santa
I have given it 2coats of gesso , then used antique stain painted on then wiped off .
I will be using acrylic paint with an antique medium mix to add colour.

Gorgeous! I have one quite similar but with a deer instead of the cornucopia that a friend's wife painted many years ago. Unfortunately he's packed up at the moment or I'd take a picture, but he takes pride of place each Christmas
