Yarn and Fabric related

This is for a friend of Therese's . Emma finally gave birth - baby was 8 1/2 lbs in old money!!

She and her husband hadn't wanted to know the sex,

I 'd been knitting a Teabag hat - pattern from 'Knit Today' 2012 - and worked out mitts to match.

I told her in no uncertain terms it would have to be a boy as I was knitting it in blue.

She obliged!!

Nice polite girl that she is.

Made a small blanket with what was left, bordered by remainder of fawn and some fluffy yarn.
