Completed Challenge
This is my completed storage item for Liz’s challenge. I’ve made a “stitch library” which stores an example of all the stitches on my sewing machine for my reference. So not only do I have the pictures on the sewing machine but I now have an actual example on scrap fabric all stored together in a book. I have been meaning to do this for a while and knew it would take some time. Then when Liz mentioned the challenge I thought that this would be perfect to store the stitches. It all took quite a while to do plus extra time to do an example of every single stitch on the sewing machine, including the varioius versions of the alphabet. My photos are not very good, the edges are straight in real life, but for some reason the photos look different. Front and back cover includes hand embroidery, stamping, bead work, even a bit of weaving. I’ve also added a few references to the Coronation as I thought it would be a nice memory for me to know the year I made it.
