This went a bit wrong but I thought I’d at least claim the credit for the idea!

Button enhanced cross - stitch kit.

Dead chuffed!

Then the Aida was so stiff I dampened it to fit it into the frame.

And the threads ran.

Dead scunnered!

But here it is anyway!

Thought I’d try Sarah’s idea of going psychedelic and started by re- dipping it to further spread the dye,

AND IT ALL WASHED AWAY!

So just below is what it looks like now - much better!

But I’ ll keep Sarah’s idea in reserve for future!
