My new craft try fabric snippets to use in journals , the are supposedly wrapped round old wooden thread spools and given as gifts . they are found on YouTube and start fron 2 inch strips of waste fabric which you embellish and add lace to

I have added hidden paper clips to mine to make them useful as bookmarks

the next pic shows a couple of paper ones I made also adding hidden paper clips

I might embellish with some beads , not sure yet
