Yarn and Fabric related

A few years ago I bought this Bernatt variegated colour yarn to make a blanket for Alia but I didn't get around to using it, Since then she has grown out of pink as most girls her age too. It's a baby colour, for little kids who like Disney Princesses still 😂 When they get older and won't be called a little kid anymore some of them go back to liking it, but at 7 it's not cool to like pink.

But I wanted to use the yarn and get it out of my stash so I made the blanket anyway, it's the size to fit a single bed or twin bed as they confusingly say in the US. It's very thick spongy type yarn, which I would not usually crochet with but is perfect for a blanket being both warm but light. I intend to donate it to a local charity.
