Crocheted Animals

Alia keeps asking me to crochet some tiny animals for her. They are the size you would use for a keyring and to be honest I don't like making them. The patterns aren't really very good, probably just because they are so small it's hard to add a lot of detail into them. A lot of the time I have to be a little bit creative when stitching them together to get them to look like what they are supposed to. The koala bear for instance did not have the white fluffy part to it's ears in the pattern but until I added it you could not tell it was a koala bear. Anyway I made a few and then I made a pig from some big fluffy yarn, the headband and bow is Bernat velvet yarn but the rest is a different brand not so shiny and is denser and squishier than the Bernat. They are fun to crochet with though and make big squishy toys. Alia loved it.... then she said, if I had a tiny pig this could be it's mom😂🤣 So I guess I will be back to the tiny, but first I'm going to make a few more squishy ones 😁 Sorry for the terrible photos of the pig, I think my daughter didn't realise it was supposed to be lying down flat a bit like how you get a photo of a baby lying flat with their nappy sticking up in the air, but in this case it's was the pig tutu skirt that was sticking up and the pink feet are supposed to be ballet shoes, so she has pushed the back legs under the pig curling it's body in a weird way and the bow has been flattened out. My daughter took the photos this morning and she was probably in a rush getting to work. I forgot to take a photo of it before i gave it to Alia, so my fault really.

Thank you everyone, I have completed Aurin's teddy bear, that was an awful pattern too, I ended up adapting it.
