Star Bright

Using printer 🖨️ on fabric fail ( sort of )

Tried something different for the Liz challenge and followed a YouTube guide to printing on fabrics using freezer paper. Couldn’t find any in supermarket so got some on Amazon. It was wax covered which I thought would work because I had seen a demonstration years ago on Create and Craft where plain bread wrappers had been used, I tried those but they wouldn’t stick. Neither would the wax freezer paper!

I watched the video again and saw she was using PLASTIC covered.

Sheesh!

I gave up and tried double sided tape round the four edges of a piece of cotton fabric cut to size.

And just did it. Selected clip art, edited, and went for it.

Matte photo paper, best quality print setting.

This is what I got. ( I have already divided the pics here.)

Not 👍 perfect but good enough!

As long as the printer doesn’t choke up with little hairs. (Don’t tell Harry! )

Bluebells - nearly finished embroidery details!

Such a brilliant idea. I too thought a special printer/inks would be needed to do this. I’d not heard of freezer paper either. They look fab. x
