I am going to make two cake stands for boxing day as we have buffet type food.These bits I done today will be the base they are wooden boxes I remove lids painted then added texture paste over to give pattern it will be a three layer using vinyl records.
I'm quite jealous of your hexagonal boxes. I saw a shelf yesterday that would have looked great on the wall of my craft room, it was just three hexagonal frames stuck together, but it was a ridiculous price. I bought a cloud shelf instead and I'm going to make myself a popsicle stick bunny shelf, the last one I made with Alia she gave to her teacher who loved it.
Not sure I can grasp the finished image either , I look forward to seeing finished item 🤔 lol

ooh wonderful, love cake stands, can't wait to see it. I have a collection of varying sizes of cake stands from very small to a large 7 tier. Makes cakes look fantastic and depending on the size of the stand, can mean there is more room on the table for the other food.
