Harvesting and storing
Before my little run in with Covid last month, we picked the apples and the last of the rhubarb.
Froze in containers - this year I remembered to label them. It is so disappointing defrosting what you thought was apple to make a tasty crumble and getting tasty soup instead.
Shall make jam, but meanwhile made some puddings with apple and jelly and custard and a dot of blackcurrant jam.
Harry eats them anyway. I tHink heās got his sense of taste back nowā¦
He said everything tasted like mud.
Good mud, though! (re: Tony Robinsonās Maid Marianne)
