A whole 5lb chicken in the IDP
For the first time I put a whole chicken in my instant duo pot. Rub spices and herbs all over my chick, put the chicken in air fryer basket with trivet.
Put basket and tr8vet in duo pot with a 1/2 pint of water in bottom of pot
Put on lid
And press pressure cook button and time button for 40 minutes for a 5 lb chicken. When pressure has counted down 40 minutes , release pressure take out chicken. Empty pot of liquid, put back chicken and put on air fryer lid .
Press air fryer button press time button for 10 minutes and temperature button to 190 centigrade. Chicken turned out well cooked and browned nicely.
Put foil over chicken and let it rest .
