Rhubarb Cordial
I picked some homegrown rhubarb from the garden and decided rather than making a crumble I would make some cordial. I love making cordials rather than buying them, simply because I know which ingredients are used. Yes lots of sugar but absolutely no chemicals.

It does always seem like a lot of sugar doesn't it? But I still think it's less sugar than in the bottles you buy, they always seem a bit too sweet for my taste. I had found a lovely soda here that was raspberry and lemon, it had hardly any added sugar and was carbonated, but they stopped selling it since Christmas, It's Italian and you can only buy it there now, although you can buy other varieties. So now I'm thinking I might try to recreate it. when the raspberries are in season
