Drying sun flowers
We had such a wind last night that the sun flowers were in a mess, and we had a power cut For an hour this morning. When the sun came out middle of the morning John went up and cut them down the heads are drying in the poly tunnel so the birds can nip in and eat the sun flower seeds under cover.

But they make a great show in summer!
I tried dwarf sunflowers , bought from a nursery. But after the top one died, the rest never developed. Big Disappointment!
