Just spent a worrying sleepless 24 hours after jim being rushed off in an ambulance to Aberdeen with suspected heart attack , fortunately it was angina and he got back home 2 hours ago , due to the snow I couldn’t get anyone to travel to Aberdeen to collect him so he needed a taxi home . And my eldest daughter has been informed her father in law has also been taken by ambulance to Aberdeen hospital this afternoon after becoming unwell during the night . What a start to 2026 Today it’s raining and this is clearing the snow at least . My friend here in the village phoned to say her little dog has gone blind and today after an examination and tests the vet suspects a brain tumour the dog is 8 yrs old , surely the year can’t continue like this . I hope your all having better times than I am , take care .
