John is doing the kindest thing and not trapping the moles in the garden, instead he puts distilled vinegar down the hole which seems to banish them back in to the fields surrounding us , planting crown imperials bulbs does it too they can’t stand the smell of the bulbs. Another trick is too stick a child’s windmill down the hole and the vibration keeps them away.😃
