Yarn and Fabric related

I made a bag for Alia's tablet, it has a hard case on it but we wanted something else to both keep it out of her brother's way and also to make it easier to carry. She chose the vinyl fabric, the star one was awful to sew through, all the usual sticking problems that are normal for vinyl, but the plain blue is jelly vinyl, it's matte, no sticking, it sewed through like a dream. The little black cat applique has been sitting in a drawer waiting for just the right project for several years so I'm glad we found a good use for it. I bought her a blue cable to match and an adapter block that was very narrow so it fit flat in the pocket so she can charge it anywhere she takes it without having to search for a cable. We were unsure at first about the type of strap she wanted, but opted for the on trend sling style.
