My go at Linda’s upside down cake.
Defrosted plastic container safely labelled ‘apple’ as opposed to one of soup.
Raided Harry’s pancake cupboard for maple syrup.
Used a Betty Crocker carrot cake pack which had been staring balefully at me from the shelves for months.
Read and followed directions.
And cooked it in my nice red silicone cake thingy.
Upended it carefully on to a big plate (Phew!)
And this is the result!
Harry is quite impressed with me.
And now for the custard!
Well done mt, I am glad I inspired you to try an upside down cake, and use up some fruit.
