From autumn colour to snow

This morning was our fist snow fall the earliest we have had in decades. I hunkered down in the warm of my craft room and had bumble and squeak and egg for breakfast and thinking of heart warming food I shall make for dinner, liver and bacon casserole, and bacon and onion roly poly . May be make a fruit cake with festive nuts and berries on top of some icing. A jug of hot custard to go with treacle sponge pudding. Last of all to have a soft blanket and hot water bottle to sit with on the sofa 😓

The sweet gum tree below comes from North America. Which was autumn coloured a few days ago is now going white.
