If you have young children who like to watch kids youtube or some kind of social media you might have heard about nano tape. It's a double sided sticky tape made for sticking pictures and such to walls, and rugs to floors. However kids are using it to craft with, Mostly you just take a piece of tape, place the end of a straw on it, fold it in half leaving a little open pocket, pour glitter or little charms or foam balls etc into the pocket and cut off the excess tape, remove the backing from the tape (it's double sided) and warm the tape up with a hairdryer or heat gun for a minute, secure all the edges really well pressing them together hard and them blow in the straw and you will make a bubble, filled with glitter or whatever you used. Pull out the straw and secure the gap quickly. Kids use them as a squishy fidget toy. There are other things you can do with them,
Alia made a little fish out of some clay, and some little blue bubbles, Then she used the tape as you would for a bubble but she only blew it up a little bit, then she poured in some blue coloured water through the straw, pulled the straw out and gathered the top together to seal it so it looks like a goldfish in a bag. I thought it would make a great keyring to clip on her school backpack.
Fascinating! Thatโs a new one for me too!
Must chase it up on You Tube!
Nice one, Alia! ๐
