We had a large split thick log slice from a tree that fell down. The diameter is about 20 inches. The kids decided to turn it into a sundial. A kabab stick was used as the hour hand. We have placed it in its position on top of the steps outside Mark's office. Marking of the hours took longer than expected. We have had totally clear blue skies for months. Exactly on the hour when marking a line, a cloud would appear out of nowhere in a totally clear sky, and block the sun when we needed to mark the line😂. Now just need to put some yachting varnish on to weather proof it. We have been checking and the time its accurate.
